Nothing has made me feel better about my decision to do what I did, than watching these two men here.

Well then Brennan, I had “a higher calling” too, you maggot.

  1. Patty, you think any of these guys (Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Rice, Lynch, etc etc etc Obama) will go down? Or is it going to be free pass from the Just Us Dept?

  2. Apparently We The People do not know what’s best for us. Thank God for these men – the deep state – who have a Higher Loyalty, who serve a Deeper Purpose. /s

    Sanctimonious pricks.

  3. Patrick,

You say no censorship here. I put up a post about your suit with the major brokers from years back. It concerned the settlement. It disappeared immediately. I don’t understand. I will wait to see if it clears the censor. If it was possibly a mistake, I’ll post again later today.

  4. Okay, I tried again and it still wasn’t posted. So I removed one line which may have been objectionable. Patrick I would like to hear your explanation why you settled this case.TIA

“The case will be heard before a jury on December 5, 2011. “It is going to be the OJ Simpson trial of the financial world,” said Byrne. “It will be heard in California, in San Francisco. It will be exciting. I have said publically that I will not settle. It would be treason for me to settle. There is really no number. It is not that complicated a case. I am hearing that it is only going to take a few weeks. It is very simple. There are emails and a bunch of data – it is just about presenting it all to a jury.””  https://www.sfgate.com/business/article/Patrick-Byrne-Amends-Suit-Against-Goldman-Sachs-2378962.php

    1. I have gone through the pending comments section, and find no comment such as you describe. I am sorry. I promise you that I had nothing to do with keeping any comment of yours from getting posted. Am enjoying the find equatorial sun, and not heeding such matters.

Why did I settle in late 2015? The case did not get in front of a judge in 2011. In fact, it was dragging on in late 2015. I was hanging on by my fingertips expecting it to get to trial in December 2015, it having been delayed and delayed numerous time since that 2011 article you cited. Finally we got to December 2015, and I thought it was about to be tried, and it got delayed until April-May 2016.

Why do I say, “Hanging on by my fingertips”? Because I was dying of two things at once. My heart problems (I’d had 3 open chest surgeries in the 1980’s) led to deterioration so that during 2009-2015 I had five cardiac ablations and they had to restart my heart 400-500 times (cardioversions, and a bolus of adenosine from time to time). I was spending 40-80 days/year in hospitals, and convalescing another 100 days per year. Normally after 2 cardiac ablations they go to AV node ablation with pacemaker, which buys one about 3-4 years (and they normally only do it in people in their 70s and 80s). I had to talk them into trying cardiac ablation a third time. By the fourth, I almost could not convince them to try it, but a woman in my life argued and argued my case until they did. When it came to the 5th, she basically had to throw herself and her dreadlocks over my body, Pocohantas style, to keep them from doing the AV node ablation, and give it a 5th try.

Somewhere in there they also diagnosed me with raging HepC, of a genotype that the new drugs coming to market did not cure (because I caught it in Central Asia in 1983 from a “Barefoot Doctor” sewing up a scalp wound, and it is somewhat different than the types for which the drugs were developed in the West). They gave a try with one regimen in 2015, and I was briefly clear, for about 1-2 months. Then I got a call from the hospital in early August 2015: it was back. I was officially Stage IV. I had 6-36 months to live absent successful intervention of which the odds were 23%, but they were going to “blast” me with a new drug in Stage III clinical (which has since been approved for general use). If the drug did not make me respond, or if I got through the 6 -8 months of treatment and then it came back, they were going to start cutting out organs.

I got that news and 90 minutes later walked over to NASDAQ and delivered this speech:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suhYcwXwV2o&t=67s

You may notice that I was a little foggy and off-my-feed throughout it. That is because 90 minutes earlier i had had that call from the hospital.

But I hung in there, excited about the trial coming up. I think the trial was scheduled for November. I just wanted to see things through that, then retire and enjoy life a bit for maybe just a few months before or until they started cutting.

By November I think it got moved to December. Things were looking shitty medically. I was commando-crawling through being “blasted” by this double dose of this new drug (they were still working out tolerances and such). We got ready for trial in December, and it got moved out again to April-May. I knew that I was finishing my drug treatments in March. There was still a 50% chance that within a month of finishing (i.e., in April 2016) I would fail again, and then we would go to surgical options to buy some additional time.

When I got the news in December 2015 that it was moved again, I weighed all the odds. I then knew the odds were quite strong that I would be finishing treatment in March, but there was at least a 50-50 chance they would be cutting out organs by April. I was also told by the lawyers on the board, “You know, even if we win in May, they will appeal, and it will be 5 or 6 more years before we get any cash.” I did not even know if I would be able to appear in a May trial, or even be alive.

The fuckers had outlasted me. Barely. After a decade-long battle, it had come down to a handful of months. If it had gone to trial in December 2015, we would have just made it. I would have been sick, I would have been on powerful meds, but I would have seen it to court. But May 2016 was a bridge too far.

I said, “Go cut the best deal you can.” We got $18 million.

      How’s that?

      1. Patrick,

Thank you for the detailed and honest reply. I had no idea. You have done more for the cause than anyone. I have just wondered for years why you settled. Certainly valid reasons for sure. I believe if the general public had known what was happening, things would have been different. It’s sad so few care. Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

Your site censored me automatically, I now believe. The original quote had a reference to a WW 2 thug, so it rejected it automatically. Once I removed the quote, it posted immediately. I was wrong. Sorry.

As always I proud of your efforts to change things. I just wish you would take a look at the damning evidence I have on the SEC.

  5. Many moons ago, I criticised Dr. Byrne for settling too low with various facets that remain “The Miscreants Ball.” Patrick doesn’t take to criticism well so our email conversations were ended.

  6. appreciate people who are true individuals, the good people who are
working to get to the truth behind the shit storms and pissing contest.

not f—heads that put their food in the microwave and
enter a bank PIN number to cook it.

    be safe…time tells all.

  7. Patrick, your fearless leadership role at OSTK will be soreley missed. Personally, I maintain strong doubts JJ will surpass the final attack by Goldman which puts Overtock asunder. When I heard him playing up to you at tail of last year’s ASM with subtle tributes to your dad, also connected to selling Etail, he didn’t pass my smell test, and that hasn’t changed.

You were betrayed(Brutas) and I feel JJ, Saum and Cohodes conspired towards that end.

My much earlier criticism to you was settling with Rocker/Cohodes too cheap. Seems like that SOB came back for his pound of flesh later, and won regardless of the public charade he has exhibited otherwise.

It also seems odd that our Oracle wouldn’t solve the D&O Insurance matter for you minimally.

  8. Professor Stephen Cohen of NYU and Princeton is the leading critic of the Trump-Russia narrative but says he is stumped by the motive for the false allegations against Trump. He says everyone in Russia thinks it’s an attempt to thwart détente. He has never mentioned you, but if your claims are true he should be directed to consider them.

    1. I know Koen’s work. He is a fine academic. His book “lost alternatives“ is a little fantasy fiction for me, with the exception of the last part: it is absolutely true that the United States squandered a world-historic opportunity after the fall of the Soviet Union. “In wars victory keep to funeral ceremony,“ said Laozi. We should’ve been far more gracious. We spent trillions developing nuclear weapons, to offset their nuclear weapons, but after a few years of spending $70 million a year helping them dismantle their nuclear weapons after the fall, we could no longer find it in our budget. We sent that Nimrod Jeffrey Sacks over, and rather than building the institutions first and then privatizing, he convinced them, “you can’t jump a ditch and two steps.“ They privatized before there was anything resembling “rule of law”, And what do you know, the wealth of the biggest country on earth ended up in the hands of the mafias closest to the politically powerful. And then the politically powerful ended up in the hands of the mafias.

What I am hoping is the one all of this Russia gate and other stuff in which I have inside information finally gets exposed by the DOJ (which they are taking their damn sweet time about), Americans will understand that the story is not “an aberration”. It is a microcosm.

  9. Incredible articles, I am really impressed by what you have to say. Also very saddened for what you, Maria, others have gone through…… I will watch eagerly/anxiously for further developments. THANK YOU!!

p.s. I would be cautious about reliance upon the @tracybeanz character in your re-tweets. She is one of the major original proponents of all the “Qanon” stuff which strikes me as containing an enormous number of inaccuracies and reckless conspiracy mongering. I am not having trouble taking your comments/experiences very seriously but I find the Qanon people pretty insane and tending to undermine/discredit all the people and info they try to embrace. Yes there are real conspiracies, but not absolutely everything is a sign, symbol, or conspiracy as the Qanon people tend to believe.

  10. Patrick, I know you said you don’t plan to devote a lot more time to this stuff but maybe you know who could follow up on the following (if it bears further research). I only just found this but it seems to suggest a lot of “deep state” type machinations among intel agencies, journalists, etc…..

This is from March 2018 but I had not seen it before.  Fascinating details on possible writers/players in construction of the Steele “dossier” operation…..
I don’t know what has come out since on the dossier team but there is much here that needs follow-up research by someone:

    https://apelbaum.wordpress.com/2018/03/17/the-mechanics-of-deception/

“It seems that the real dossier story is not the scandalous insinuations that it makes, but rather it’s the funding sources, the teams that worked on it, and its compilation and distribution channels. At peak capacity, the dossier team must have consisted of at least 25 individuals who worked on it for over 6-12 months. Assuming a modest $200 per hour rate per person, some first/business class travel and accommodations, media, consulting, IT, and legal services, this project must have cost an upwards of 5-10 million dollars. According to Simpson’s testimony and documents, Fusion GPS was only paid about a million dollars by the DNC and Clinton campaign, which begs the questions of what was Hakluyt’s cut and where did the rest of the money go?”

“Simpson and Steele did far more than simply conduct sordid opposition research for the Clinton campaign. By various machinations, they successfully reached the most influential people in UK and US politics, the media, and federal government agencies and shaped/influenced the narrative of the 2016 presidential elections. There is little doubt that Simpson/Jacoby and their US political/media network and Steele with his enablers in Hakluyt, the British media, and the Foreign Office successfully waged a full-scale influence operation against the US and are continuing to do so even now.”
