As I understand it after these fake shares enter the system they in effect become real. I have read about the problem's in share holder voting because of this but I haven't found any answer's to the following. If a company declares a dividend on a million shares but 4 million show up what happens? Sort of the same question on the sale of a company. I agree to buy a company for a million dollars that has a million share's on the books but 4 million show up. Again, what would happen. Finally, If, and make that a big IF, a day of reckoning ever comes, what would happen to the share holders in a company that had 4 million shares but only 1 million authorized. These question's assume the company survived the attack. Could someone help me with this? Or at least point me to some more reading where I can find the answer's.
