It occurred to me that as part of rescuing the banks, they realized they needed to buy in the phantom shares. What better way to do it than intentionally collapse the market so the banks can cover cheap. Never before have I seen so much negative cheerleading, with CNN instructing me to cash in my portfolio because cash is king. On a moment's notice, Pauly and his $700 billion and plunge protection teams around the world could go the other way, running stocks back up. All those profits to cover Wallstreet's gambling will come out of your portfolio and your tax dollars. What I'm saying is watch the markets rally again before the election.
