Has anyone else been falsely accused of being a planted shareholder of overstock besides me? Or been deterred from participating in any lawsuit(s)? And / or potentially intimidated?

I am seeking additional legal counsel for a potential lawsuit.

I would also like to confront my accuser(s) and ask that they contact me by phone. Please.

I would also encourage any reporters who are interested in some new information with regards to Sam Antar to contact me. some of which I cannot share publicly.

vex, what exactly do you mean by being accused of being a "planted shareholder"? Do you mean that some Overstock bashers on some board are accusing you of being a shareholder "planted" by Overstock to "pump" it, or that it's other Overstock shareholders on some message board accusing you of not actually being a shareholder because you're "bashing" it? I'm just trying to understand. There's a possibility I could forward the info to someone who could help, but I want to make sure I understand your situation and what is exactly that you're trying to accomplish.

My claim is that I have been falsely accused of being a hired gun OSTK shareholder and in addition that I have been personally harmed by those making such accusations.

I am seeking legal representation.

Any help is appreciated.

vex, sorry for the delay, but I got caught up in some holiday activities. There is this feisty attorney in Memphis who has a background in investment banking (he was a U.S. Marine in Vietnam, then did financial banking/securities before becoming an attorney). As I mentioned, he's quite feisty, and he can be a bit cantankerous at times, but he seems to be a very tenacious and sharp-witted attorney. If he thinks your case is workable (I say this because sometimes it's difficult to get the true identity of fiercely anonymous message board bashers to proceed), I believe he may be able to help or at least advise you in the matter.

He was briefly a poster on Raging Bull who had the nerve to give his full name and all contact information to the paid message board bashers when he challenged them on an offer they made (of course, they immediately backed out of their offer). I posted the above proof of his being an attorney, because they repeatedly posted on the Raging Bull CMKI board that he is a FAKE attorney as an excuse for their deal-welshing. None of the ones libeling themselves like that has the nerve to post legitimate contact info for themselves, because they know he would probably sue them for libel or slander or whatever (I'm not an attorney), but I believe he's the type that will pursue weasels like that if they get him angry enough and give him enough contact information to get to them.

I have filed a police report.
Spoken to 2 district attorney's for NY. (one former, one active).
Plus and another attorney for homeland security.
